Robert Stahl

 

Robert Stahl has been involved with emergency response and safety activities for over thirty years.  Bob has served in volunteer and paid positions of fire chief and fire marshal.  He currently is a firefighter for Southampton Fire Company, and a member of the Roslyn Fire Company, the Bucks County Rescue Task Force, and the Eastern Montgomery County HAZMAT Team, all located in Pennsylvania. He is a past Chief of Southampton Fire Company and the Bucks County HAZMAT Team. 

 

He is President of Integrated Safety & Response Technologies, a training and consulting firm

specializing in emergency response and safety for the fire service, institutions and industry. He holds a B.S. in Business with a concentration in Fire Service Administration.  He also has earned a M.S. in Environmental Protection and Safety Management degree, through the Public Safety department of Saint Joseph’s University in Philadelphia, PA.  Bob is designated as a Chief Fire Officer (CFO), Certified as a Fire Officer 4, a Certified Incident Safety Officer – Fire Suppression, Certified Fire Protection Specialist (CFPS), and as a Certified Safety Professional (CSP).   He holds a number of other certifications. 

Bob has worked on course development for the National Fire Academy (NFA) and is an instructor for numerous courses in many different program areas at NFA, including Safety, Hazardous Materials, Incident Management, and Fire Prevention.  He has been a Pennsylvania State Fire Academy instructor for over twenty-five years.  In addition, he has instructed courses for the Maryland Fire and Rescue Institute, Delaware State Fire School, Department of Defense, and the Department of Energy. 

Bob has been the Eastern Division representative to both the International Fire Code Council and the NFPA Northeast Regional Fire Code Committee since 2000.  He has been on the ICC Board of Industry Professional Standards since 2003.  Bob is a Certified Fire Inspector 2.
