Children Under 13

EDIAFC.org does not intend to collect any personal data from anyone under 13 years of age. If you are under 13, you should not enter information on any EDIAFC web site and should ask a parent to do so for you. If you are under 13, EDIAFC.org must have express written permission from a parent before you may use any EDIAFC.org web site. The authorizing parent must email us at webmaster@EDIAFC.org. using the subject line, “Parental Permission for Minor”, certifying the parent’s age and authority, and giving us express permission to acquire and retain any such personal information as we may obtain from users of any of our sites.

Information Collection

EDIAFC.org does not collect personally identifiable information about you in any of its domains except when you specifically provide this information on a voluntary basis. For example, we may request personal information when we run a contest, or when you register for subscription services via on-line forms, and in connection with content submissions, community bulletin boards, surveys, polling or voting activities.

EDIAFC.org will make every effort to ensure whatever information you provide will be maintained in a safe and secure environment. Unfortunately, no data transmission over the internet can be guaranteed 100% secure. As a result, while we try to protect your personal information, EDIAFC.org cannot ensure or warrant the security of any information you transmit to us or from our online products or services, and you do so at your own risk.

Once we do receive your information, we make our best effort to ensure its security on our systems. EDIAFC.org will never request credit card information through any of  our web pages and you should never send credit card information to our web site or in response to any email reporting to be from EDIAFC.org or its representatives.

 Information Sharing

EDIAFC.org may share or sell its membership mailing and email lists when we believe that doing so will be of benefit to our members. EDIAFC.org requires that any organization. Organizations who obtain EDIAFC mailing lists or email lists are required to provide an “opt out” statement that provides a process for a member to “opt out” of receiving promotional or marketing information from the third party sender.

EDIAFC also shares its membership list with the “Daily Dispatch” electronic Newsletter as a service to our members. Members wishing to opt out of receiving the Daily Dispatch may do so through an electronic link in that electronic document.

 EDIAFC.org may disclose user information in special cases when we have reason to believe that the disclosure of information is necessary to identify, contact or bring legal action against someone who may be causing injury to or interference with (either intentionally or unintentionally) EDIAFC.org’s rights or properties, other EDIAFC users or anyone else who could be harmed by such activities. EDIAFC may disclose user information when we believe in good faith that the law requires it.

 Information Use

 EDIAFC does not perform statistical analysis of user behavior and characteristics. We therefore do not share such data with advertisers or sponsors. EDIAFC may provide statistical data to vendors as to the numbers of viewers who have seen there ads or banners. This information does not contain any identity or personal data about the users who have visited the web pages. Advertisers will not be able to personally identify anyone from this statistical data.  EDIAFC.org does not use IP addresses for system administration, record keeping and advertising reporting.

You should be very careful when you voluntarily disclose personal information (for example your name, address or email address) on any web page. That information, along with any other information you may disclose can be collected, correlated and used by third parties and may result in unsolicited messages from other posters or third parties. Such activities are beyond the control of EDIAFC.org.

Cookies

EDIAFC.org does not employ the use of cookies to collect data about repeat users and recognize repeat users more quickly.

Opting Out

Upon request, EDIAFC.org will allow any user to opt out of further promotional or informational contacts at any time. EDIAFC.org does not do any direct promotions for third party products or services. To opt out of any promotional or informational contact from EDIAFC.org, use the opt out link contained in the email you received. To opt out of our postal mailing list and or email list for all member communications, contact EDIAFC our mailing address or the contact links on our web site. It is your responsibility to assure you provide the correct email and/or mailing address to be deleted from our mailing lists.

 Links to Other Sites

 EDIAFC.org provides links within its domain to sites outside of EDIAFC.org. Those sites include both non-profit and for profit organizations. EDIAFC.org has no control or responsibility over these external sites and we cannot be responsible for any information they may collect or how they use it. You may arrive at one of these external sites by clicking a link, banner, logo or name on the EDIAFC.org site. These sites may issue their own cookies or collect data or personal information. Use caution when visiting an external site.

EDIAFC Security Policy

EDIAFC.org is aware of your privacy concerns and only as much data as is required to make your internet and/or product experience as efficient and satisfying as possible, in the most unobtrusive manner.
