The Communications Planning Committee is tasked with monitoring communications issues related to the Fire and Emergency Services. In particular, they are assigned to monitor the 700 and 800 MHz radio spectrums with regard to allocation of spectrum for the emergency services and the conflicts presently existing between radio users and cellular phone operators.
