The Elections Committee is tasked with developing the criteria for candidates for Officers and Board Members in the Eastern Division. They are specifically tasked with developing the process and time line for the newly adopted mail ballot elections of Officers. In 2007 they were charged with  conducting the first mail ballot election in Division history.

The committee is also responsible for the preparation of mail ballots when required, validation of candidate eligibility and reporting to the membership at the annual conference.
